A St. Louis woman was arrested following a rollover crash during a pursuit in Crawford County on Oct. 31, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Jayla Fletch, 27, was driving a 2023 Buick Envision with two young passengers—a 4-year-old boy and a female infant—when the crash occurred at 10:04 a.m. on Highway H in Leasburg.
The highway patrol reported that the vehicle veered off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, overturned, and slid across the roadway on its roof before coming to rest off the left side.
Fletch was arrested at 10:25 a.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated and child endangerment. She is currently in custody at the Crawford County Jail.
The highway patrol said the infant was taken to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment. The 4-year-old was transported to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
