Dirt Bike Accident Injures Sullivan Man

A 29-year-old Sullivan man received serious injuries following a dirt bike accident on Sunday, August 1, at 5 p.m. at 8785 Route AE.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol the accident occurred when Timothy J. Barton, 29, Sullivan, operating a 2021 Kawasaki 140 RF, was traveling southbound on private property when he overcorrected the bike and was ejected from it.
Barton, not wearing a helmet, sustained serious injuries and was flown by Air Evac to Mercy, St. Louis for treatment.
The patrol reported no damaged to the dirt bike.
