Cuba Man Injured After Striking Kayaks On Interstate

A Cuba man had moderate injuries Saturday after he struck two kayaks that flew off a vehicle.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at 8:10 p.m. at the 215 mile marker in Bourbon.
A 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Shawn Jaeger, 23, Wright City, lost two kayaks.
Jay Howard, 33, Cuba, was traveling on a 2016 Harley Davidson and struck the kayaks, overturning.
Howard, who was wearing a safety device, was taken to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.
