Crawford County Man Charged With Rape

A Crawford County man without a fixed address has been charged with raping a victim.

Nicholas Yarbor, 42, faces one count of second-degree rape. Yarbor is a convicted sex offender.

He was convicted of first-degree statutory rape with a victim in Montgomery County in December 2000.

The probable cause statement alleges Yarbor raped the victim on Aug. 15 in Cuba.

He was arrested in the early morning hours of Aug. 16.

Yarbor does not have a bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Aug. 19.

Two days before his arrest for rape, a warrant was issued on Yarbor for violating his probation.

Yarbor was sentenced to five years probation for failure to register as a sex offender in 2021.
