COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic To Be Held For Second Week At Crawford Electric

Crawford Electric hosted a COVID-19 vaccine clinic free of charge Thursday, May 13, with some 70 people turning out to be vaccinated.

A second clinic will be held this Thursday, May 20, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The clinic is free of charge and no insurance or appointment is needed. All three vaccines are available.

The clinic is run by Missouri State National Guard, Crawford County Health Department, State Emergency Management Agency and Jordan Valley Community Health Center.

Attendees will be able to choose one of the following vaccines at this event:

Pfizer: the vaccine requires a booster dose in three weeks and is approved for individuals 12 and older;

Moderna: this vaccine requires a booster does in four weeks and is approved for individuals 18 years and older;

Johnson and Johnson vaccine only requires one dose and is approved for individuals 19 and older.

The Missouri State Emergency Management Agency has partnered with Sinks Pharmacy as a location for the second doses of both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.

Those attending will be directed by Missouri National Guard to enter the co-op’s east gate and will need a photo identification. You are asked to wear a short-sleeved shirt.
