Chamber Will Begin Search For New Director

The Sullivan Chamber of Commerce announced April 10 that it will be seeking "qualified individuals" for the position of chamber director following the resignation of current director Emily Lewis.

Lewis submitted her resignation to the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors this past week.

Lewis replaced former Director Shawna Speaks in 2022 and had been serving for the Chamber for the last six months.

“We appreciate the service from Emily Lewis to our Chamber and will now begin the extensive search for a new director,” said Kecia Philpot, Chamber Board President. “We will begin advertising immediately and in the interim we will be working limited hours at the Chamber Office and ask those with immediate assistance to contact one of our board members or through email. We apologize for any inconvenience during this time.”
