Chamber Board Hires Lewis As Executive Director

The Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Emily Lewis for the position of Executive Director.

Emily has started her new position part-time at the Chamber office and will officially join the team full-time in November jumping right into Chamber events like the Spooktacular, Rooftop Food Drive, and two Christmas events.

Emily has been part of the Sullivan community since 2014. She has been well known in the community, serving on many different organizations such as Salvation Army, Sullivan Fire Protection District Auxiliary, Franklin County CASA, American Heart Association, Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Meramec Community Fair, and 911Lifeline. She is a graduate of University of Phoenix with her M.A. in Administration of Justice, was named to the 40 under 40 Class of 2021 through the Citizen CPR Foundation, and is an alumni of the City of Mesa, Arizona Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy.

“One of my favorite things to do is connect with other business owners. I love learning about their business, what they are doing well, where they are struggling, and offer any support that I can.”

Emily and her husband, Sullivan Fire Chief Eric Lewis, are the owners of Show Me CPR and Personal Safety, a local business that offers CPR, AED, and First Aid training classes as well as fingerprints and background checks. Emily and her husband have 5 children – Max, Gracia, Nathan, Sophia, and Benny – and in her free time, Emily enjoys coaching her Sophia’s soccer team, watching Nathan play football, baseball, and soccer, and spending time outdoors.

With Emily’s vast experience and connection to the area, the chamber is excited to see what the future holds.
