Burglary Suspect Nabbed By Sullivan Police
Sullivan Police are seeking formal charges against a Sullivan man who is alleged to have been involved in multiple burglaries at local businesses over the past several weeks.
On Friday, Sullivan Police arrested Rollen Summers, 25, Sullivan, on four active warrants that included a Franklin County warrant for probation violation on the original charge of burglary in the second degree, no bond and three St. Clair warrants for possession of dangerous drugs, stealing and trespassing, bond $555.
According to Sullivan Police Chief Pat Johnson, further investigation led officers to recover some stolen items from the burglaries and charges are being sought through the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
“We had some great police work on this case and are working to move forward with our case to Prosecuting Attorney’s Office,” said Johnson.
Summers is presumed innocent of the forthcoming charges as he must be proven guilty in a court of law.
Johnson did not specify the businesses that were the target of the burglaries, nor what specific clues led to the arrest of the suspect.
