Bourbon Man Receives Serious Injuries After Being Struck On I-44

A Bourbon man had serious injuries and was flown to St. Louis area hospital on Thursday night after being struck on Interstate 44.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at the 228 mile marker at 6:30 pm.
Jerry Frehock, 55, was crossing from north to south to retrieve fuel for his vehicle.
He was struck by an unknown vehicle, which left the scene.
Frehock was flown ARCH helicopter to St. Louis.
