Ballwin Man’s Body Found After Canoe Capsized On Missouri River

A Ballwin man’s body was recovered Wednesday days after his canoe capsized on the Missouri River near the Howell Island Conservation Area.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the body of Caleb Gage, 32, was found at 8:58 a.m.
Gage went missing Sunday, May 15 around 8:48 p.m.
He was not wearing a life jacket.
Gage was operating his canoe too close to a low head dam, which caused it to overturn.
There have been 11 water-related deaths in Missouri this year.
