Area Schools Close As Winter Weather Moves In

The first blast of winter shut area schools down on Thursday and created hazardous conditions for travelers.
Snow moved in overnight and the National Weather Service says up to two inches could fall throughout the area through noon.
Portions of east central and southeast Missouri are affected.
