Area Firefighters Save Gerald Home

Area firefighters were able to save a Gerald home on Friday night in the 8200 block of Red Oak Road.
According to the Gerald-Rosebud Fire District, firefighters arrived to find a detached woodshed threatening the home.
Firefighters from Gerald-Rosebud, Beaufort-Leslie, Sullivan, Owensville and Union provided a quick response, according to the district, and contained the fire to the shed and a small attached garage.
An individual and firefighter were treated on scene for heat-related incidents, but were cleared.
No other injuries were reported.
