All Franklin County Sex Offenders Found In Compliance

During September 2022, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office along with St. Clair, MO Police Department, Union Missouri Police Department, Washington Police Department, New Haven Police Department - Missouri , Gerald Mo Police Department, Sullivan Police Department, and Pacific Police Department conducted 288 compliance checks on registered sex offender in Franklin County. 

This compliance check on sex offenders is a yearly joint operation to ensure that persons on the sex offender registry are in compliance with the registry guidelines.  A compliance check of this nature is to make sure registered sex offenders are in compliance with court ordered conditions, to include:  current address and phone number, any temporary/frequented addresses, employment, vehicles registered or driven, computer access/sites, email information, compliance with court ordered probation or parole, and the identity of others that may reside at the residence.

Of these checks there were no violations, currently there are 288 offenders who reside in Franklin County.  The safety of our citizens is priority and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will continue to take a proactive approach to ensure registered sex offenders are in compliance.
