Crawford County’s general revenue sales tax showed a year-over-year resurgence for April.

The county collected $167,787.04, up 16 percent from April 2023. Crawford County brought in $144,145.49 a year ago.

The year-over-year gain was the first of its kind for the county in 2024 and the first time since October 2023.

However, the county’s yearly haul stands at $1.021 million, not far off the $1.027 million that had been collected at the same point last year.
