Commissioners Ambushed By Resident Over ARPA Award For Practical POCUS
Crawford County commissioners on Oct. 22 were ambushed by a resident over a 2021 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) award to Practical POCUS.
Practical POCUS (point-of-care ultrasound) was awarded $540,000 for providing a year of training for individuals residing or working in Crawford County and the renovation of a facility.
The company told the Independent News that it has fulfilled all obligations.
Kem Schwieder addressed commissioners over the award, saying that it’s “been on my mind and a lot of people’s minds that I talk to.”
