First Known Death Related To COVID-19 Recorded In Franklin County

A resident at Grandview Healthcare in Washington died from complications related to COVID-19, the first Franklin County resident known to die from the virus.
It was reported first by the Washington Missourian.
According to the Missourian, through a disease investigation with the Franklin County Health Department, it was determined the resident was not exposed to nor contracted COVID-19 at the Grandview facility.
