County Reports Surge In Cases, Drop In Hospitalizations

While Franklin County reported a rise in COVID-19 cases on Friday, hospitalizations continued to fall.
There were 452 new cases reported, a daily average of 58 over the last two weeks.
However, hospitalizations continued to fall, going from eight to four.
Active long-term care cases fell from nine to two.
Franklin County’s seven-day positivity testing rate was 16.2%.
The county has totaled 15,330 cases and 232 deaths.
