Crawford County R-1 Superintendent Patricia Thompson announced Friday that she plans to retire at the end of the 2018-2019 school year, effective June 30.
Citing structural deficiencies, a rotting roof and major liability issues, Kevin Parr of Midwest Public Risk told Crawford County commissioners Tuesday that the courthouse gazebo should be removed.
Starting on October 1, Crawford County’s increased sales tax went into effect where it will remain through 2023.
The Department of Revenue began notifying businesses months ago.
A Bourbon resident told the city council Sept. 18 that drivers are speeding through her subdivision after school dismisses.
The city of Bourbon may consider an ordinance against residents cutting their grass and blowing the debris onto the streets.
