Booming Sales Tax Puts County On Track To Match 2020 Revenue

There was no autumn chill to be found anywhere, but summer’s last weekend provided plenty of sunshine for the return of the Fall Festival and car show on Friday and Saturday.
Crawford County reported 58 new COVID-19 cases for the week ending Aug. 31.
Two more deaths were reported during that time.
Crawford County will receive around $4.6 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding.
The Crawford County R-1 School Board set the 2021 tax levy at $3.9162 per $100 of assessed valuation, lowering it from 2020.
Board members set the rate during the Aug. 26 meeting.
