County Reports Nine New Cases, Six Recoveries Since Tuesday
Franklin County said Thursday morning there have been nine cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday, along with six more recoveries.
Since March 23 there have been 163 cases.
There are now 25 active cases, with 13 in skilled nursing facilities and 12 elsewhere in the county.
The county has reported 120 recoveries and 18 deaths.
Seven of the new cases are Union residents. They are:
49-year-old male;
75-year-old male;
54-year-old male;
84-year-old male;
71-year-old male;
48-year-old female; and,
20-year-old female.
There is one new case in Washington — a 32-year-old female along with one new case in St. Clair — a 22-year-old male.
Testing Event
Presiding Commissioner Tim Brinker said a community testing event will be held Saturday, June 13, Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15 at the Washington Fairgrounds.
“If you need to be or want to be tested, we can help,” Brinker said.
